The short version
- We don’t use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies on this website.
- We only get personal data when you email us, including through the forms, which simply prepare an email in your own email app. We use it to answer you and to talk about working together.
- We don’t sell your data and we don’t give it to advertisers or networks.
- You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete what we have about you.
1. Who we are
This website is run by Entuziasti, a media buying team that runs performance advertising campaigns for advertisers and affiliate offers. In this policy “we”, “us” and “our” mean Entuziasti. For the personal data described here, we are the controller within the meaning of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR): we decide why and how it is processed.
The fastest way to reach us about anything in this policy is the privacy request form or an email to [email protected].
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers the Entuziasti website, including the concept pages in the Our work section, and the emails you send us, including those prepared by its contact forms. It also explains, in section 11, how personal data is handled in the advertising we run on other websites and apps.
It does not cover the websites of shops, advertisers, ad platforms or other third parties that we link to. Once you leave this website, the privacy policy of the site you land on applies.
3. What we collect
3.1 Information you send us by email
Our contact forms don’t send anything to our server. When you press the button, the form opens your own email app with a message already filled in. We receive the information only if you then send that email. Each form asks only for what we need to answer that kind of request. Depending on the form, the email contains:
| Form | What we receive |
|---|---|
| Advertisers | Name, company, email, optional messenger handle, offer URL, vertical, payout model, target countries, terms and your message |
| Affiliate networks | Name, network name, email, optional messenger handle, website, countries, verticals, payment terms and your message |
| Ad platforms | Name, company, email, optional messenger handle, website or media kit, ad formats, countries and volume, pricing and your message |
| Tools and services | Name, company, email, service type, website and your message |
| Careers | Name, email, role, country and time zone, languages, a link to your CV or portfolio and your message |
| Press | Name, publication, email, deadline and your question |
| Report an ad | Where and when you saw the ad, a link to it, your description and, if you choose to give them, your name and email |
| Privacy request | Name, email, type of request and the details you give us to find your data |
| General questions | Name, email, subject and your message |
Like any email, your message also reaches us with your email address, the name set in your email app and the date and time it was sent. Please don’t put sensitive information, such as health details, in a message. We don’t need it to answer you.
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Like every website, our hosting server records technical data for each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, browser type and operating system. We don’t use this data to identify visitors.
3.3 What we don’t collect
We don’t use Google Analytics or any other analytics tool, advertising pixels, session recording, fingerprinting or social media plugins on this website. Fonts and images are served from our own server, so loading a page doesn’t send your IP address to font or image providers. The concept pages don’t collect anything either: their buy buttons only show a note.
4. Why we use it and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis under the GDPR |
|---|---|
| Replying to an advertiser, network, platform or service provider and discussing possible cooperation | Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(b); and our legitimate interest in developing our business, Article 6(1)(f) |
| Assessing job applications and staying in touch about future roles | Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(b); your consent for keeping your application for future roles, Article 6(1)(a) |
| Answering press and general questions | Our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us, Article 6(1)(f) |
| Investigating reports about ads | Our legitimate interest in keeping our advertising accurate and lawful, Article 6(1)(f) |
| Handling privacy requests and keeping a record of how we answered | Our legal obligation, Article 6(1)(c) |
| Keeping the website running, secure and free of spam | Our legitimate interest in a secure website, Article 6(1)(f) |
| Defending or exercising legal claims, if that ever becomes necessary | Our legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) |
Where we rely on legitimate interest, we have weighed it against your rights and kept the data to the minimum. You can object to this processing at any time (see section 9). Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what we did before.
We don’t make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, and we don’t build profiles of people who visit this website.
5. How long we keep it
| Data | How long |
|---|---|
| Messages from advertisers, networks, platforms and service providers | For as long as we are talking or working together, and up to 24 months after our last contact. Longer only where tax or accounting law requires it for signed agreements and invoices. |
| Job applications | Up to 12 months after the application, then deleted. Earlier if you ask us. |
| Press and general questions | Up to 12 months after our last reply. |
| Ad reports | Up to 24 months, so we can spot repeated problems with the same campaign. |
| Privacy requests and our answers | Up to 3 years, to be able to show how we handled them. |
| Server logs | A short period set by our hosting provider, normally no longer than 30 days, unless needed to investigate a security incident. |
6. Who else sees it
We don’t sell personal data, rent it out or share it with advertisers, affiliate networks or ad platforms. The only other parties involved are the service providers we need to run the website and our email:
- Hosting provider, which stores the website and its server logs.
- Email provider, which delivers and stores the emails you send us.
They process the data only on our instructions and under a data processing agreement, as required by Article 28 GDPR. We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example to a court or authority, or where it is needed to defend a legal claim.
7. Transfers outside the EEA
We aim to use providers that store data in the European Economic Area. If a provider processes data outside the EEA, we make sure the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission or by the Standard Contractual Clauses, as Chapter V of the GDPR requires. You can ask us for details of the safeguard used.
8. How we protect it
The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and has no database or server-side scripts that store visitor data. Emails reach a limited number of mailboxes. Access to those mailboxes is restricted to the people who need it to do their job, and their accounts are protected with strong passwords. No system is completely secure, but if a breach ever affects your data in a way that puts your rights at risk, we will tell you and the supervisory authority as the law requires.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it.
- Correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Delete your data, for example when we no longer need it or you withdraw consent.
- Restrict processing while a question about your data is being resolved.
- Object to processing based on our legitimate interest. We will stop unless we have compelling reasons that override your interests.
- Data portability: receive the data you gave us in a common machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what was done before.
- Complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live, work or think the problem happened. The European Data Protection Board lists all of them: edpb.europa.eu. We’d appreciate the chance to sort it out with you first.
10. How to use your rights
Send us the privacy request form or email [email protected]. Tell us which right you want to use and give us enough detail to find your data, such as the email address you used and roughly when you contacted us. We answer within one month. If a request is complex we may need up to two more months, and we will tell you why within the first month. Using your rights is free. If we can’t confirm that a request really comes from you, we may ask for one more detail before acting on it.
11. Our advertising on other websites
Our work is running ads on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, native ad networks and Xiaomi devices. If you see or click one of those ads, the platform that shows it processes your data under its own privacy policy and is responsible for the targeting and consent tools it offers you. From the platforms we receive reports on campaign results, such as impressions, clicks and conversions, which don’t tell us who you are.
The landing pages we run for campaigns have their own privacy notices, which explain any measurement used on those pages and ask for consent where the law requires it. Orders, payments and deliveries are always handled by the seller on its own website, under its own privacy policy.
12. Children
This website is meant for businesses and job seekers. It is not directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, tell us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our website, our tools or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change affects data we already hold about you in a significant way, we will tell you before it applies.
